Sharing stories of birds, science, and conservation

Communicating science is one of the things I enjoy most. I regularly present my research at scientific conferences, but I equally enjoy sharing stories about birds, science, and conservation with audiences ranging from birdwatchers and conservation organisations to university students and the general public.

In my talks, I combine my own research with insights from across the scientific community, using my own photography enriched with illustrations to bring bird science to life. Alongside my research on bird migration and movement ecology, I enjoy speaking about raptor identification and community-based conservation initiatives such as the Batumi Raptor Count. Hereby my goal is always the same: to share knowledge and stories in an engaging but accessible way.
